A kindergarten bus carrying 48 children and others slid backward about 60 meters on a steep slope in Yeongdo-gu, Busan.
According to the Yeongdo Police Station in Busan on the 19th, around 10:40 a.m. that day, a kindergarten bus that was stopped on an uphill road in Bongnae-dong, Yeongdo-gu suddenly slid backward.
The bus slid backward about 45 meters, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided with a 1-ton truck. As a result, the 1-ton truck was pushed into a utility pole and a public phone booth.

After hitting the truck, the bus's speed decreased, but it is known to have continued sliding backward. The bus originally returned toward its lane but stopped after sliding another 20 meters and hitting the guardrail.
The kindergarten bus was carrying 48 children and 4 teachers. The Busan Fire Headquarters responded to the report and transported 15 children to the hospital. It was reported that there were no serious injuries. The remaining children either returned to the kindergarten or were handed over to their guardians.
