Daedong Hospital Introduces AI Solution for Chest X-ray Image Analysis
Daedong Hospital (Director Lee Gwangjae) has recently introduced a 'Chest X-ray Image Analysis AI Solution' to provide high-quality medical services.
As advanced medical technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, digital healthcare, and robotics are being utilized in various medical fields, Daedong Hospital has adopted the innovative medical technology Lunit INSIGHT CXR.
This solution uses big data and AI algorithms to analyze chest X-rays for ten major lung diseases commonly found in chest X-rays, such as nodules, consolidation, pneumothorax, and pulmonary fibrosis. It generates a report indicating the location of abnormal areas and the probability of lesions, and automatically compares with previous images, enabling fast and accurate analysis to assist radiologists in their interpretation.
Kim Kinam, Director of the Radiology Center at Daedong Hospital (Radiologist), said, "The image analysis AI solution shortens the interpretation time for radiologists, making the process more efficient and allowing for more accurate analysis of lesions, which helps improve accuracy and aids in early detection of diseases and treatment planning. We will continue to strive to provide high-quality services to patients visiting Daedong Hospital by introducing innovative medical technologies."
