Samil PwC-Korea Exchange Conduct 'On-site Financial and Accounting Practice Seminar'
Samil PwC announced on July 18 that, together with the Korea Exchange Small and Medium Enterprise Accounting Support Center, it will conduct the 'Visiting Regional Financial and Accounting Practical Seminar' in six regions including Seoul and Busan starting from the end of August.
Held for the second time following last year, this seminar is designed to strengthen the financial capabilities of regional listed companies, including those located in provinces with limited opportunities for face-to-face education and seminars.
Experts from Samil PwC with field experience and expertise will attend the seminar to provide lectures on the latest accounting and tax issues, as well as internal control and financial digitalization, targeting finance team executives and employees of KOSDAQ and KOSPI listed companies in six major regions.
This year's lectures are composed of four main topics: ▲Accounting treatment precautions related to key audit focus areas ▲Major points of the latest 2024 tax law revisions and enforcement ordinances ▲Fraud risk response and internal control value-up ▲Financial digital strategy and response measures.

The seminar will be held starting in Busan (August 28), followed by Daegu (August 29), Gwangju (September 3), Daejeon (September 5), Incheon (September 9), and Seoul (September 11). In particular, the seminars in the Incheon and Daejeon regions will be co-hosted with the respective regional chambers of commerce and industry. For regions other than Seoul, a Q&A session on practical topics along with dinner will be provided after the lectures.
