Samsung Securities Achieves No.1 Market Share for MTS 'MPOP' in June
Home Screen Revamped to Enhance Convenience
Samsung Securities announced on the 16th that its mobile trading service (MTS) 'mPOP' ranked first in market share in June.
According to big data analytics firm Mobile Index, Samsung Securities' 'mPOP' recorded 2.45 million users in June. In a customer acceptance survey related to the mPOP home screen revamp, it was evaluated that the convenience and accessibility of investment information inquiry had improved.
Since the beginning of this year, Samsung Securities has improved business processes such as non-face-to-face account opening and increased the provision of domestic and international stock charts and investment information. They provide daily selected news, reports, and market conditions, and in April, they improved the display screen for bond and fund products. Increased usage of the digital premium service 'S.Lounge' and the portfolio advisory service 'RoboGulling' also contributed to the expansion of mPOP's market share.
Recently, the home screen, which is the first screen of mPOP, was revamped. First, Samsung Securities divided the mPOP home screen into two menu tabs: 'Today's Investment' and 'My Assets.' The 'Today's Investment' tab provides stock information and investment information. The real-time ranking based on stock ranking, rate of increase, and trading volume was changed from the existing horizontal card format to a list format to include more information.
The newly established 'Discovery of Stocks' menu provides real-time top trading stocks and the top trading stocks of the top 1,000 expert investors with the highest stock investment returns at Samsung Securities. The other menu tab, 'My Assets,' is designed to allow customers to check their total asset status along with news and reports on their watchlist and held stocks at a glance. Notification information such as market summaries is also provided at the top of the home screen.
