Jang Kyung-ik, Creator of 'Moving' and 'Descendants of the Sun,' Appointed New CEO of Studio Dragon
Studio Dragon, a subsidiary of CJ ENM, announced on the 15th that it has appointed Jang Kyung-ik, former CEO of Studio&New (pictured), as its new CEO.
CEO Jang is a content producer who has served as the head of NEW's film business division and CEO of Studio&New. He is recognized for successfully leading various genre works, including the drama "Descendants of the Sun," "Doctor Cha Jeong-suk," and the film "The Fortress."
Last year, through the series "Moving" released on Disney+, he won six awards, including the Grand Prize at the Baeksang Arts Awards, the Grand Prize for series works at the Daejong Film Awards, and multiple honors at the ACA & Global OTT Awards.
