Picture Book Recycling for Environmental and Character Education
The Busan Early Childhood Education Promotion Institute (Director Kim Sunok) will hold a "Recycling Pop-up Book Making" program for 40 families with children aged 3 to 5 at the institute on July 20 and 27.
This program is designed as a hands-on experience where participants create pop-up books by recycling old books, aiming to foster children's reading habits and raise awareness about environmental and character education.
The event will introduce various types of pop-up books, and children will have the opportunity to create stage books, popcorn books, tunnel books, and more with their families, providing time to communicate and bond with family members.
Those wishing to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis through the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education's integrated reservation portal from 11 a.m. on the 16th to 3 p.m. on the 19th. For more details, please contact the Early Childhood Education Promotion Institute.
