Active Soccer Player Causes Traffic Accident and Flees... Urgently Arrested at Home
An active soccer player fled the scene after causing a traffic accident in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, but was caught by the police.
On the 12th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked and are investigating a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on charges including failure to take post-accident measures.
Mr. A is accused of hitting a transformer on the sidewalk with his car and fleeing the scene around 6:06 a.m. in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The police arrested Mr. A at his residence; it was reported that he refused a breathalyzer test at the time. However, he consented to a blood test to determine whether he was driving under the influence. A preliminary drug test result came back negative.
