Emart, having completed its merger with Emart Everyday, is launching ultra-low-priced products in the third quarter to stabilize prices.

The third-quarter ultra-low-priced products have reduced prices of essential daily items through pre-planning, direct sourcing, and bulk purchasing. Among them, 32 products were jointly launched with Emart Everyday, and a total of 5 products are offered by the three companies including Emart24.
Emart and Emart Everyday have been jointly launching ultra-low-priced products every quarter since the beginning of this year. Sales of jointly launched products by the two companies have been increasing each quarter, rising from about 22 billion KRW in the first quarter to 23 billion KRW in the second quarter. Emart expects sales of jointly launched products in the third quarter of this year to reach approximately 25.5 billion KRW.
This third-quarter ultra-low-priced product lineup mainly consists of food items such as onions, meal kits, cashew nuts, processed foods, and daily necessities. First, the "Onion (3kg, net, 3,980 KRW)" is 30% cheaper than existing products by reducing distribution stages through direct purchasing, costing about 306 KRW per onion. The "Home Meal Set: Beef Brisket Doenjang Stew & Stir-fried Pork 960g" is offered at 8,980 KRW. This product includes two servings of doenjang stew and one serving of stir-fried pork, making it suitable for 2-3 person households. The "Roasted Cashew Nuts 500g," considered a representative souvenir from Vietnam trips, is also offered at 6,980 KRW through direct sourcing.
