Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) conducted a safety management inspection on June 10 at the construction sites of the Eco Delta City 18, 19, and 20BL private participation public housing projects and the Phase 3, Section 2 development project, to prepare for natural disasters during the summer such as typhoons, heavy rain, and heat waves.
On this day, President Kim Yonghak and the executive team visited the site, received reports from the site manager on the progress of construction and the current status of safety management, toured worker rest facilities, and encouraged the efforts of those involved in the project.

BMC will immediately address issues that can be resolved on-site, and promptly carry out repairs, reinforcements, and detailed safety inspections where necessary. To prevent safety accidents, measures such as restricting access to certain areas, designating danger zones, and installing control lines (guide signs) will also be implemented.
From the 1st to the 19th of this month, BMC has formed an inspection team consisting of management, safety and fire protection experts, and private sector specialists to conduct intensive safety management inspections of large-scale construction sites, rental apartments, Arpina, and other BMC-managed facilities.
In addition to the designated sites, BMC is distributing self-inspection checklists for construction sites and heat illness prevention guides for outdoor workers to help prevent summer accidents and encourage self-inspections.
