48 Career Counselors Participate in Customized Employment Service Program for Companies
The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Yang Jaesaeng) and the Busan Regional Human Resources Development Committee held a completion ceremony for the On-Site Job-Oriented Employment Service Academy at the Busan Chamber's International Conference Hall on the 10th.
This employment service program was launched to help local employment and job project stakeholders strengthen their project development and planning capabilities, thereby contributing to revitalizing employment in the region.
Hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office and organized by the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the program ran for about eight weeks from May. It covered in depth the recruitment processes and job description analysis methods for various industries such as footwear and textiles, shipbuilding, tourism and MICE, automotive, and electrical and electronics.
Recruitment officials from major local companies such as Hwaseung R&A, LS Electric, Changshin INC, Sunbo Industries, Village de Ananti, and Hwashin Bolt Industry participated as instructors, delivering practical skills and knowledge required in the field. Career counselors experienced actual corporate recruitment processes and developed competencies that can be applied in practice.
There were 48 graduates who completed the customized program for corporate sites, which included training on ▲ analysis of recruitment trends by core local industries ▲ methods for analyzing company-specific job descriptions ▲ hands-on practice in interpreting aptitude tests.
One graduate shared, "Through the on-site job-oriented training program, I was able to learn about recruitment trends in major local industries and receive practical, field-focused education, which was very beneficial. Based on what I have learned, I believe I can provide better employment services."
A representative of the Busan Regional Human Resources Development Committee said, "This academy focused on strengthening the practical capabilities of career counselors through field-oriented, practical education," and added, "We will continue to discover and provide various programs to enhance the expertise of local talent."

At the completion ceremony, Hong Mugon, Director of the Busan Regional Human Resources Development Committee, and Yeo Seongcheol, Director of the Busan Employment Welfare Plus Center, attended to present certificates to the graduates. Outstanding trainees received awards from the Head of the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office and prizes.
