Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, rushed to the site of the road subsidence (void) near the Seoul Western District Court at 11 a.m. on the 10th and took immediate initial response measures.
The location of the road subsidence and cracks is near 9, Mapodaero 14-gil, with the subsidence area measuring approximately 3m by 8m.
Upon receiving the report at the fire station, Mapo District immediately dispatched the road management department's mobile team and on-site response team, completed road control and safety measures to prevent secondary damage.
Subsequently, the district conducted on-site excavation with the participation of related agencies such as the waterworks, city gas, and telecommunications companies to investigate the cause. Meanwhile, under police supervision, both sides of the side road are being controlled as they do their best for a swift recovery.
