On the 8th, the lawyer of Kim Geon-hee, wife of President Yoon Seok-yeol, who is suspected of receiving a luxury bag from Pastor Choi Jae-young, stated, "Reports that the prosecution recently began coordinating a summons with Mrs. Kim are not true." This is the first time Mrs. Kim's side has publicly expressed their position since the prosecution started investigating this case.
Choi Ji-woo, Mrs. Kim's legal representative, distributed a statement in her name to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office press corps that afternoon containing this information.
