Kibo Holds Workshop with Thailand Credit Guarantee Corporation... Sharing Business Know-How
Annual Workshop Held for Knowledge Exchange
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) announced that from the 1st to the 4th, it held a practical workshop with employees from the Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) at the Kibo Yongin Human Resources Development Center and the Seoul branch to share guarantee systems and risk management know-how.
Through an agreement signed with TCG in 2022, Kibo conducts an annual practical workshop for information exchange on small and medium enterprise support systems and joint research. Following the workshop held in Bangkok, Thailand last November, the third workshop was hosted by Kibo.

Both organizations shared their knowledge and know-how on topics such as ▲institution introduction and key achievements ▲guarantee systems and product design methods ▲non-performing loan management and rehabilitation support systems ▲risk management systems at the Kibo Yongin Human Resources Development Center, and held discussions for mutual cooperation.
On the 4th, the TCG delegation visited Kibo’s Venture Investment Finance Center and Jongno branch located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to observe the progress of Kibo’s investment and innovative finance, and also received an introduction to the overall support systems and technology evaluation processes.

Director Eun-Il Lee of Kibo, who attended the workshop, said, “We hope this workshop with TCG will contribute to strengthening Thailand’s technology evaluation and startup support capabilities,” adding, “Kibo will strive to regularize exchanges with overseas guarantee institutions to continuously transfer Kibo’s technology finance know-how, and actively promote cooperation projects for the overseas expansion of domestic SMEs.”
