SK Square President Park Seong-ha Announces Resignation Intent... Successor Selection Process Underway
Park Seong-ha, president of SK Square, the investment company of SK Group, has reportedly expressed his intention to resign.
According to business circles on the 25th, Park expressed his intention to resign last week, and after discussions with the board of directors, the Personnel and Compensation Committee within the board accepted it the day before.
The company only explained Park's reason for resignation as "personal reasons."
The SK Square board of directors is composed of a total of five subcommittees, among which the Personnel and Compensation Committee is responsible for managing and recommending candidates for CEO.
SK Square plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and a board meeting in the future to appoint the person recommended by the Personnel and Compensation Committee as an inside director and CEO. However, it is known that no successor has been decided yet.

Park was reportedly recently notified of dismissal due to insufficient performance during the SK Group restructuring process, but the company stated that nothing has been finalized regarding this matter.
