On the 24th at 3 p.m., Mayor Jin visited the Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency (Director Hong Ki-seong) to urge thorough quarantine inspections of imported livestock products and animals and plants.
During his visit, Mayor Jin carefully inspected various facilities and closely reviewed ▲ quarantine procedures for livestock products ▲ the CIQ quarantine process required during international entry and exit ▲ and virus testing procedures for imported and exported animals and plants.
Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon stated, “Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, daily life was halted and many restrictions were imposed over the past four years. It is extremely important to prevent infection risk factors in advance through thorough quarantine and inspection of imported livestock products and animals.”
