As the weekend arrives, cloudy weather continues in the southern regions along with strong winds.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that as of 10:30 AM on the 22nd, heavy rain and strong wind warnings have been issued for Geomundo and Chodo.
A heavy rain warning is issued when rainfall is expected to reach 60mm in 3 hours or 110mm in 12 hours. It is difficult to avoid the rain even with an umbrella. Caution is needed for accidents such as river flooding. A strong wind warning is issued when wind speeds are predicted to exceed 14 m/s or gusts exceed 20 m/s. Typically, street trees sway and it becomes difficult to use an umbrella.
Heavy rain warnings remain in effect for 13 locations including Yeosu.

The Korea Meteorological Administration also issued a heavy rain warning for Chujado, Jeju Island at the same time. Storm warnings remain in effect for the inner offshore waters southwest and southeast of Jeju Island, as well as the outer southern offshore waters.
