Shinsegae Centum City Opens 'How Sweet' Concept 'PLAY LINE FRIENDS with NewJeans' Popup Store
With IPX, Vintage Record Shop Concept
New Products from Bunini Unveiled
Shinsegae Centum City, in partnership with IPX, the official business partner for NewJeans IP merchandise, will present the ‘PLAY LINE FRIENDS with NewJeans’ pop-up store themed around the group NewJeans’ double single ‘How Sweet’ at the Hyperground on Basement Level 2 from the 21st until the 10th of next month.
This pop-up is being held in collaboration with IPX (formerly Line Friends) and pop-up partner Popcentoy. The pop-up space, designed with an old school vibe, features a photo zone inspired by a vintage record shop, LP-shaped physical albums, and photo posters, allowing visitors to experience analog touches.
In particular, the ‘bunini’ character, born from the meeting of NewJeans’ iconic Tokki (rabbit) and IPX’s minini, will be released in a variety of merchandise, including sound keyrings and plush keyrings featuring the members’ voices, which are generating much anticipation.
Additionally, visitors can discover the ‘NewJeans Colle Edition,’ which combines NewJeans’ unique charm with IPX’s creativity. Unique products such as rabbit string bags inspired by bunny ears and furry bunny keyrings are expected to appeal to the fandom’s desire for collectibles.
Furthermore, products such as NewJeans photocards and T-shirts and smart tok inspired by the ‘How Sweet’ outfits and newly designed by IPX in a ‘THE POWERPUFF GIRLS’ version will also be available.
Starting from the 11th of next month, a new pop-up inspired by NewJeans’ Japanese debut single ‘Supernatural,’ in collaboration with global cultural and art icons such as Takashi Murakami and Hiroshi Fujiwara, is scheduled to open.
