Gyeonggi-do Strengthens 'Home Visit Emergency Care' Starting July
Gyeonggi Province will strengthen home-visit emergency childcare services starting in July.
View original imageGyeonggi Province will launch the ‘Home Visit Emergency Care Enhancement Project,’ which allows care applications by phone during weekday nights, weekends, and holidays starting this July.
This project strengthens the existing child care service where caregivers visit homes to look after children.
The service targets families with children aged 3 months to 12 years in 10 cities and counties including Suwon, Hwaseong, Anseong, Pyeongtaek, Siheung, Gwangmyeong, Namyangju, Guri, Dongducheon, and Gapyeong.
Applications can be made through the Idolbom app or website (www.idolbom.go.kr), or by calling the Anytime Care Center ‘Hotline Call Center.’ However, to use the service, users must first register as full members on the Idolbom app or website. Application hours for the app and website are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
For phone applications, during working hours (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), contact the service provider in each city or county; outside working hours, contact the ‘Child Anytime Care Center (Hotline Call Center)’ at 010-9979-7722.
Call center connections are available from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and holidays. The service is available 24 hours a day.
Additionally, starting in July, Gyeonggi Province will operate the ‘Child Anytime Care Center (Hotline Call Center),’ which links emergency care requests made through the 24/7 call center to nearby child care facilities and home visit care services during weekends and weekday nights.
To increase service linkage rates, Gyeonggi Province will provide additional allowances to caregivers involved in emergency care activities.
