Chosun University Northeast Asia Research Institute Signs Agreement with Suncheon National University Institute of Humanities
The Northeast Asia Research Institute of the Institute of Social Sciences at Chosun University has signed a business agreement with the Institute of Humanities at Suncheon National University to achieve mutual development through the promotion of friendly relations and academic exchange.
The signing ceremony held on the 10th at the Institute of Humanities at Suncheon National University was attended by Ki Gwang-seo, Director of the Northeast Asia Research Institute at Chosun University (Professor of Political Science and Diplomacy), Kang Seong-ho, Director of the Institute of Humanities at Suncheon National University, and many other related personnel.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ collaborative planning of academic conferences, forums, and symposiums ▲ discovery of common interest topics and conducting joint research ▲ sharing research outcomes and publications, and cooperative use of academic materials.
The Northeast Asia Research Institute at Chosun University is conducting the project "Collection, Translation, and Database Creation of Korean Modern History Materials from Russian Archives" supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea, while the Institute of Humanities at Suncheon National University is conducting research on "The Historical and Cultural Effects of the Asia-Pacific War and the Korean War."
Through this agreement, both institutions have agreed to strengthen continuous cooperation in the humanities and social sciences fields, including the establishment of a "Northeast Asia Humanities, Social, and Economic Joint Platform."
