BNK Gyeongnam Bank Posts Sixth Empathy Board with Message of Hope
After the midday shower ends and the crickets start to sing, that's how summer will quietly pass by again
BNK Kyongnam Bank is delivering a message of hope to the local community, wishing for everyone to wisely overcome these challenging times.
BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on the 18th that it has posted its sixth empathy message board related to summer on the exterior wall of its headquarters, making it easily visible to customers and local residents.
The empathy message board project was planned as part of Bank President Yeh Kyungtak's idea of a "warm bank filled with fragrance," aiming to deliver messages of hope to the local community and to share and foster cultural sensibility.
Following the spring-themed empathy message board that read, "With you by my side, every day is spring," this summer's board features the phrase, "When the midday shower ends and the grasshoppers begin to sing, that's how summer will pass again," along with an image of a girl sheltering from a shower in a traditional pavilion.
The calligraphy on the empathy message board was personally created by the renowned drama title calligrapher, Kim Deoksu.
Since last year, BNK Kyongnam Bank has been posting empathy message boards with messages of hope and encouragement each season, bringing warmth to the local community.
Choi Daesik, head of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, stated, "This empathy message board contains a message of hope that if we endure and overcome difficult times, better days will surely come. We prepared the sixth empathy message board in the hope that the various hardships currently faced by our customers and local residents will be resolved. BNK Kyongnam Bank will continue to faithfully serve as a reliable pillar of the local economy, always standing by our customers and community members."
