Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Gwanghun) announced, "Shin-Kori Unit 2 (pressurized water reactor type, 1 million kW class) completed maintenance on its turbine steam system facilities and resumed power generation at 5:19 a.m. on the 13th, reaching 100% normal output at 7:00 a.m. on the 14th."
Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters manually stopped the turbine generator of Shin-Kori Unit 2 on the 10th for inspection of the turbine facilities, and after completing maintenance and confirming stability, resumed power generation.
