Inha University has been selected as an excellent university (Grade A) for three consecutive years in the 'IPP-type Work-Learning Dual System Project Performance Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The IPP-type Work-Learning Dual System Project is a recruitment-linked professional workforce training education system that provides on-site customized training based on the National Competency Standards (NCS) for four-year university students. NCS standardizes the abilities (knowledge, skills, attitudes) required to perform tasks in industrial fields at the national level.
The Inha University IPP Dual Joint Training Center received high scores in performance areas related to the achievement rate of learning workers, participation rate of new and excellent companies, external evaluation pass rate, and satisfaction of learning companies and learning workers.
More than 88% of all participating companies in the Work-Learning Dual System Project are excellent companies such as large and medium-sized enterprises. In the external evaluation, which is a national qualification exam, more than 40% of candidates in job fields such as Marketing Strategy Planning (L5), Asset Management (L5), SW Development (L5), and Semiconductor Design (L4) have passed, achieving outstanding results. The average pass rate for external evaluations is around 20%.
Since being selected as the first operating university for the IPP-type Work-Learning Dual System Project in 2015, Inha University has been providing students with customized education and training to cultivate practical talents in industrial fields such as asset management, marketing, software and hardware development, and semiconductor design. To date, 1,087 students have participated in Inha University's IPP long-term field training, and 341 students in the Work-Learning Dual System.
Since last year, Inha University has been actively promoting the 'Advanced Industry Academy' project to focus on cultivating practical talents in semiconductor design and artificial intelligence development, leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution era and enhancing global competitiveness. The university is engaging in industry-academia cooperation with excellent companies aiming to nurture specialized professionals tailored to each industry.
