Seven Eleven announced on the 16th that it will conduct a relay promotion selecting new fresh food items every week for discounts to reduce the price burden on 'Pyeonjjangjok' (people who shop for groceries at convenience stores).
According to Seven Eleven sales data, fresh food sales have grown by double digits every year, and this year, sales have increased by about 20% compared to the same period last year. In particular, fruit and vegetable sales increased by about 25%, showing that the number of 'Pyeonjjangjok' is growing.
First, for the fresh promotion products in the 3rd week of June (17th?23rd), chive (250g) will be sold at 1,950 won with a 39% discount, and jujube cherry tomatoes (500g) will also be sold at 5,500 won with a 35% discount.
In the 4th week (24th?30th), cut green onions (100g) will be sold at 900 won with a 40% discount, and peeled onions and peeled garlic will be sold at 37% and 38% cheaper, respectively. The first week of July’s discounted product will be Seongju chamoe (Korean melon), selected to be sold at 7,900 won with a 28% discount.
Additionally, until the end of this month, bottled water 'Icis 2ℓ' (6-pack) will be offered as a one-plus-one deal, and 'Icis 500㎖' (12-pack) will be sold at a 14% discounted price.
