At around 2:38 PM on the 15th, the Ulsan Coast Guard received a report that a 2.6-ton leisure boat was sinking in the waters near Idonghang, Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan.
The Ulsan Coast Guard dispatched patrol vessels and the Gijang Police Station coastal rescue boat, completing the rescue operation for all seven crew members by 3:07 PM.
The crew members were wearing life jackets and had jumped into the sea, waiting to be rescued.
