The Anyang Manan Police Station in Gyeonggi announced on the 15th that it has criminally charged a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on suspicion of repeatedly visiting the workplace and residence of a female former colleague, violating the Stalking Punishment Act.
Mr. A is accused of visiting the residence near a woman in her 30s, Ms. B, located in Manan-gu, Anyang-si, at around 10:10 PM on the 13th. The police responded to a report from Ms. B's family and arrested Mr. A at the scene as a suspect caught in the act.
The day before his arrest, on the 12th, Mr. A also visited Ms. B's workplace in another area and was reported to the police, who issued a warning. During the police investigation, Ms. B stated that "she was a former colleague of Mr. A" and that "she has been stalked by Mr. A for the past four years."

However, it was confirmed that no stalking crime reports related to Mr. A had been filed with the police before the 12th. After arresting Mr. A, the police issued an emergency protective order prohibiting him from approaching within 100 meters of Ms. B's residence and from contacting her via telecommunications. The police are conducting a detailed investigation into the incident involving Mr. A and Ms. B.
