Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Shin Kori Unit 2 Reaches 100% Output After Turbine Maintenance
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Gwanghun) announced, "Shin-Kori Unit 2 (pressurized water reactor type, 1,000 MW class) completed maintenance of the turbine steam system equipment, resumed power generation at 5:19 a.m. on the 13th, and reached 100% normal output at 7 a.m. on the 14th."
The Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters manually shut down the turbine generator of Shin-Kori Unit 2 on the 10th to inspect the turbine equipment, and after completing maintenance and confirming safety, resumed power generation.
