Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Seongheon) held an opening ceremony on the afternoon of the 13th at the entrance of the 'Natural Loess Road' near the Ansan (鞍山) Hyeonjo Tennis Court.
This loess road is 800 meters long and about 2 meters wide on average, created along the mountain road extending from the Hyeonjo Tennis Court area toward the Doknipmun Samho Apartments, and it is equipped with foot-washing facilities and a loess foot bath.
Additionally, lighting facilities using handrails (safety handles) have been installed to allow safe barefoot walking even at night.

In his greeting, Mayor Lee Seongheon said, "Since the opening of the Ansan (鞍山) Loess Road on August 17 last year, the cumulative number of visitors has reached about 410,000, so many people now associate Ansan with the Loess Road and vice versa. We will continue to work steadily to expand barefoot paths, especially loess roads, which are currently very popular."
