KT Supports Education for Multicultural Family Youth
KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters and KT Labor Union Honam Regional Headquarters announced on the 13th that they are carrying out various educational support activities for multicultural family youth.
Since 2022, KT labor and management have been operating the 'Online Korean Language Class' in collaboration with the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education and Jeollanam-do Office of Education. This program supports multicultural family youth to quickly adapt to Korean society and systematically learn the Korean language.
The 5th session of the Online Korean Language Class, held over six months from March to August, involves a total of 40 multicultural youth from Wolgok Elementary School in Gwangju and Daebul Elementary School in Jeonnam. KT supports the youth by providing educational tablet PCs necessary for online education, helping them adapt quickly to Korean society.
