Ozone Advisory Lifted in 12 Districts of Southeast and Northeast Seoul
The ozone advisory issued for 12 districts in the southeastern and northeastern areas of Seoul was lifted at 6 p.m. on the 12th, according to the Korea Environment Corporation under the Ministry of Environment.
The affected districts are Gangnam-gu, Seocho-gu, Songpa-gu, Gangdong-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Seongdong-gu, Jungnang-gu, Dongdaemun-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Dobong-gu, Gangbuk-gu, and Nowon-gu.
The hourly average ozone concentration in the lifted areas as of 6 p.m. was 0.1145 ppm (parts per million) in the southeastern area and 0.1015 ppm in the northeastern area.

An ozone advisory is issued when the 1-hour average ozone (O₃) concentration in the air reaches 0.12 ppm or higher, an ozone alert at 0.30 ppm or higher, and an ozone severe alert at 0.50 ppm or higher.
