The Department of Air Traffic Management at Silla University (President: Hur Namsik) held an industry-academia cooperation exchange meeting with the Air Busan Operations Control Center for practical training of flight dispatchers.
On the 4th, the Department of Air Traffic Management at Silla University and Air Busan held an industry-academia cooperation exchange meeting at the Air Busan Operations Control Center to promote the Silla University LINC3.0 project. The meeting focused on ▲ promoting local industry-academia cooperation exchanges and expanding the industry-academia network ▲ seeking ways to link customized education, on-site training, and employment through the formation of an industry-academia cooperation council tailored to industrial demand.
The two organizations began by introducing their current status and main tasks, followed by a special lecture for flight dispatchers and a field tour. They also discussed cooperation plans for close-knit practical training programs, such as establishing a flight dispatcher course in the annually operated 'Air Busan Dream Campus.'
Jung Namcheol, Head of the Air Busan Operations Control Center, said, "Since the Department of Air Traffic Management at Silla University, which trains flight dispatchers, was established in 2022, Air Busan has continuously supported special lectures by active flight dispatchers and the 'Visiting Flight Dispatcher Dream Mentor' program. As we approach the graduation of the first class in two years, it is necessary to identify job-oriented programs such as on-site training to further enhance the capabilities of future flight dispatchers."
