Exchange Designates 49 KOSDAQ Global Companies Including HPSP and DoubleWCP
The Korea Exchange announced on the 11th that it will designate 49 KOSDAQ-listed companies, including HPSP and DoubleUCP, as '2024 KOSDAQ Market Global Companies' on the 14th.
Through this regular designation, 9 of the existing 47 KOSDAQ global companies were delisted, and 11 new companies were newly designated.
The newly designated companies are ▲HPSP ▲DoubleUCP ▲Studio Dragon ▲YG Entertainment ▲POSCO M-TECH ▲Simmtech ▲EcoPro HN ▲SOOP ▲JCS Medical ▲Doosan Testna ▲Com2uS.
Since the launch of the KOSDAQ Global Segment in November 2022, the Exchange has designated KOSDAQ global companies annually. It reviews whether companies meet the designation criteria such as market evaluation, management performance, and governance to decide on the designation and maintenance of global company status.

An Exchange official stated, "Global companies are a leading group in the KOSDAQ market and are included as components of the KOSDAQ Global Segment Index, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), and index futures," adding, "We support corporate value enhancement through participation in the KOSDAQ Global Segment Expo, overseas investor relations (IR) conferences, ESG forums, and English disclosure services."
