Gadeokdo New Airport Site Preparation Construction Failed... Re-bid Announcement on the 7th
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 5th that no bidders participated in the site development construction project for Gadeokdo New Airport, and according to the National Contract Act, it plans to announce a re-bid.
The re-announcement is scheduled to take place on the 7th through the Public Procurement Service. Gadeokdo New Airport is being promoted with the goal of opening in December 2029. Originally, the Ministry planned to issue the site development construction contract in the first half of this year, but the first bid failed.

Companies wishing to participate in the project must submit a pre-screening application and a joint supply agreement by the 24th. The Ministry stated, "Since a large budget is being invested in the site development construction of Gadeokdo New Airport, we will select the best company through fair competition and proceed with high-quality construction."
