On the 6th, Memorial Day, daytime temperatures will rise to around 30 degrees Celsius, mainly in central inland areas including Seoul and inland Gyeongbuk, making it hot.
Morning low temperatures are expected to range from 13 to 20 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius. Seoul will record a low of 19 degrees and a high of 30 degrees.
Other major cities are expected to have temperatures as follows: Incheon 18 and 26 degrees, Daejeon 17 and 29 degrees, Gwangju 17 and 27 degrees, Daegu 16 and 28 degrees, Ulsan 15 and 25 degrees, and Busan 17 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Showers are forecast from the morning in Jeju, and from the afternoon in central and northern inland Gangwon and Honam regions. Although the amount of rain will not be heavy, with Jeju expecting 5 to 30 mm, caution is advised as heavy downpours may occur if the atmosphere becomes unstable.
