Pukyong National University Student Wins Silver Medal at the 66th National Rowing Championship
Choe Hanseok Takes 2nd Place in Men's University Single Sculls Rowing
Choi Hanseok, a senior majoring in Marine Sports at the Sports Promotion Institute of Pukyong National University (President: Jang Youngsoo), won a silver medal at the 66th National Rowing Championships under the guidance of rowing coach Lee Juncheol.
From the 28th to the 30th, Choi Hanseok competed in the men's university single sculls event at the Jangseongho Rowing Stadium in Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, and achieved second place.
He shared his thoughts, saying, "I am happy that the results of my hard work in training every morning have paid off. I hope to achieve good results at the Jangbogogi National Rowing Competition to be held in Busan in June, and to bring honor to my school and team."
Since its establishment in 1983, the Pukyong National University rowing team has produced over 100 athletes and more than 30 national team members, winning 30 gold medals at the National Sports Festival alone and achieving over 100 victories at national competitions, earning recognition as a powerhouse in rowing.
