Exchange Conducts Consulting to Support Corporate Value Enhancement Plans
The Korea Exchange announced on the 3rd that it plans to conduct one-on-one customized consulting to help small and medium-sized listed companies disclose their corporate value enhancement plans more smoothly.
Consulting for establishing corporate value enhancement plans will be conducted from this month until December for 100 listed companies that wish to participate.
The consulting will be provided to 50 companies each with total assets under KRW 300 billion for KOSPI and under KRW 150 billion for KOSDAQ. If the number of applicants exceeds 50 companies, the selection will be made by comprehensively considering asset size and market evaluation.
The consulting will include presenting key analysis indicators reflecting the industry and characteristics of each company based on guidelines, time-series analysis of financial indicators and competitor comparison, guidance on appropriate disclosure cases based on diagnosis results, and support for disclosure preparation.
Once selected as a consulting target company, the consulting agency will conduct a preliminary diagnosis for each company and support the establishment of corporate value enhancement plans through on-site visits. In particular, during on-site visits, the corporate value-up program will be introduced to the directors of the listed companies.
The consulting agencies will be selected through a public bidding process, with multiple consulting firms chosen. The consulting target companies will be evenly distributed among the selected consulting firms.
