Gyeonggi Office of Education to Launch 'Policy Purchase' Contest in June
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold a 'Policy Purchase Program' contest starting in June. The Policy Purchase Program is a system that discovers and introduces creative ideas or proposals as new policies for the development of Gyeonggi education policies.
Earlier in February, the Office of Education launched the policy proposal platform ‘ePolicy Market (www.epolicymarket.goe.go.kr)’ to operate ongoing policy proposals and public contests where the Superintendent of Education designates tasks for open recruitment.
The themes for the first half of this year include ▲development of digital citizenship education class content ▲development of student-led reading programs ▲development of school work support automation programs. In the second half, the program will focus on themes such as shared schools, basic academic skills enhancement, lifelong education, entrepreneurship education, education activity protection systems, and microlearning content development.
The adoption of contest proposals is finally decided through the review of the Policy Purchase Review Committee, and adopted proposals are announced in the notices section of the ePolicy Market. Adopted proposers will receive certificates and prizes according to their grade.
