Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Soo-hee) announced on the 3rd that it has published the first-ever "Casebook of Multi-family Housing Management Audits" in Seoul.
This casebook was created to diagnose issues in multi-family housing management and to improve them, compiling audit cases of multi-family housing management conducted from 2013 to 2023.
The book includes 114 cases of multi-family housing management audits, 32 cases of legal interpretations from the Ministry of Government Legislation that can assist in housing management, and other materials related to multi-family housing management (such as management regulations amendment and reporting forms), providing useful information for residents and managers involved in housing management.
Additionally, the district plans to use the casebook as educational material for the operation of residents' representative meetings. It will also be posted on 'S-APT' (Seoul's online platform for multi-family housing) and distributed to complexes under mandatory management.
Lee Eun-joo, head of the Multi-family Housing Division, stated, "The publication of this casebook aims to increase transparency in multi-family housing management and provide an opportunity for residents to actively exercise their rights," adding, "We will continue to strive to improve residents' quality of life by ensuring that management fees, which constitute a significant part of residents' daily lives, are managed transparently."
