Charges for Posting "Delete the Data" and "Change the Set Order"
An active physician suspected of being the first to draft the 'Resident Conduct Guidelines' that urged residents to delete hospital data before resignation has been referred to the prosecution.
On the 2nd, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that on the 23rd of last month, they sent Dr. A, an active physician in the Seoul area, to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on charges of obstruction of business.
According to the police, Dr. A is suspected of posting messages on the online community for doctors and medical students, MedisStaff, in February, stating, "Delete data from the handover desktop and the department's shared folder," and "Change the set order (a set of essential prescriptions bundled for easier prescribing) in a strange way."
Previously, the police conducted three investigations targeting Dr. A, who is reported to have admitted to the charges.
