Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) held the 'Seongbuk-gu General Public Ambassador Appointment Ceremony' at the district office on the 30th.
At this event, three individuals?Jeong Ji-an, Lee Moon-su, and Park Hyun-ah?were appointed as new ambassadors. They will represent the district and carry out various promotional activities for the next two years.
The district recently enacted the 'Ordinance on the Operation of Seongbuk-gu Ambassadors in Seoul Metropolitan City' and selected three general public ambassadors through an open recruitment process to improve the existing ambassador system and expand opportunities for engagement with residents through diverse promotional activities.
The three ambassadors will continue activities such as SNS influencer (Jeong Ji-an), youth activity support (Lee Moon-su), and intergenerational communication activation (Park Hyun-ah), delivering district news in a more friendly manner that residents can relate to in their daily lives.
Although not as famous as celebrities, they are expected to serve as a comfortable bridge for communication between Seongbuk-gu and its residents, like neighbors and friends.
At the appointment ceremony, Seongbuk-gu Mayor Lee Seung-ro said, “Congratulations on being selected as ambassadors, and I hope this opportunity will encourage more interest and participation in district affairs,” adding, “I ask for active participation and activities to widely promote the unique values of Seongbuk-gu.”
