‘Chasing to the Ends of the Earth’ South Korea’s Longest-Serving Interpol Chief’s International Cooperation Investigation Diary
Team Leader Kim Mi-young, Organization & Southeast Asia's Top 3 Drug Kingpin Park Wang-yeol...
Exclusive Reveal of the Vivid Interpol International Cooperation Investigation Process
A crime tracking report by Police Superintendent Jeon Jae-hong, who served as the longest-standing Interpol officer and was at the forefront of capturing fugitives abroad, has been published. This book unfolds the Interpol international cooperation investigation process, which has never before been documented in a book, following cases that stirred public attention.
The cases covered in this book include over ten major incidents such as the Kim Mi-young team organization, the three major drug lords in Southeast Asia?Philippines' Park Wang-yeol, Cambodia's Choi Jung-ok, Vietnam's Kim Hyung-ryeol?the Pattaya murder case, which was spotlighted by SBS's Unanswered Questions and served as the motif for the movie Crime City 4, and the pseudo-religious group Eunhye-ro Church, which inspired Taxi Driver 2. The author’s pursuit and capture efforts to apprehend these criminals come alive again through this book.
Through Chasing to the Ends of the Earth, the author interestingly reveals the previously veiled process of Interpol’s international cooperation from a police perspective. The image of those fighting for justice along the long route to extradite criminals who fled overseas back to Korea resembles a dramatic story.
