Ulsan City Holds 'Youth of the Year' Awards Ceremony
Grand Prize: Lee Sungju from Cheongok Middle School and 7 Others
Ulsan City will hold the '2024 Ulsan Youth Award' ceremony at the main building situation room on the afternoon of the 31st.
The city previously received recommendations for a total of 13 candidates from the Ulsan Office of Education, district offices, and youth organizations. The candidates were evaluated based on exemplary conduct, effort, influence on the local community, and contributions to the development of the youth sector. Eight recipients were selected as awardees.
The grand prize in the youth category will be awarded to Lee Sungju, a student at Cheongok Middle School.
Lee Sungju was highly praised for growing up upright despite difficult circumstances, achieving high academic performance, demonstrating admirable character, and maintaining good relationships with peers and teachers.
Other awardees include Jin Gayoun (Dongpyeong Middle School), Kim Dongyeop (Buk-gu Youth Culture Center), Jang Junhyuk (Daehyeon High School), Lee Hayoung (Hwabong High School), Lee Taehyun (Busan University of Foreign Studies), Oh Seunga (Dongpyeong Middle School), and Jang Jiyu (Nongseo Elementary School), each selected as recipients of the Youth Award.
The awardees will be given priority recommendations to participate in various youth exchange events organized by Ulsan City.
