Amorepacific, which is expanding its sales in North America, is experiencing a rising stock price. As of 9:51 AM on the 31st, Amorepacific is trading at 197,700 KRW, up 9,700 KRW (5.16%) compared to the previous trading day.
On the same day, Ha Hee-ji, a researcher at Hyundai Motor Securities, stated, "Overall Chinese performance is expected to continue to decline until the first half of the year, but the base is likely to gradually recover in the second half." She added, "The size of the loss in China has been reduced to around 10 billion KRW per quarter. It is possible to recover to the break-even point (BEP) level in the second half."
She said, "The expected proportion of North American sales, due to the inclusion of the skincare brand 'COSRX' acquired last year, is expected to expand from about 8% last year to 14% this year," and added, "Future growth will be driven by U.S. performance."
