GS Retail's convenience store GS25 has launched the 'Yours Washbasin Mul Naengmyeon' to welcome the summer season with rising temperatures.
Washbasin Mul Naengmyeon is an extra-large mul naengmyeon planned by GS25 in an 8-serving size. It contains 1.2kg of naengmyeon noodles, which is about 8 times the weight of typical 150g naengmyeon noodles on the market, along with special naengmyeon broth (400g), naengmyeon sauce (40g), dried vegetables (24g), and naengmyeon vinegar (18g) all packed in a stainless steel container. The included domestic stainless steel container can be washed and reused as an actual washbasin after enjoying the naengmyeon mukbang.
GS25 expects high interest in the Washbasin Mul Naengmyeon as the price of a bowl of naengmyeon in the market has approached 15,000 KRW due to rising dining-out costs. The price of the 8-serving Washbasin Mul Naengmyeon is 17,900 KRW.
Washbasin Mul Naengmyeon is the first product to expand the jumbo ramen concept into the instant food category. GS25's jumbo ramen recorded sales worth 30 billion KRW within one year. So far, GS25 has expanded the jumbo ramen concept into various categories such as 'Netflix Jumbo Popcorn' (snacks), 'Netflix Jumbo Squid Fries' (side dishes), and 'Cafe25 Iced Americano Jumbo' (coffee beans). In particular, Netflix Jumbo Popcorn ranked first in total snack sales after its launch and increased private brand snack sales by an impressive 16 times.

Since the 16th, GS25 has been sequentially launching 'Washbasin Mul Naengmyeon' through online and offline channels. From the 16th to the 20th (5 days), a limited quantity of 2,000 units was sold on a first-come, first-served basis through the pre-order service on the Our Neighborhood GS app, selling out all 2,000 units within 75 minutes of the sales start. It is scheduled to be officially released at GS25 stores nationwide starting from the 31st.
