Daesang Cheongjeongwon's 'HOME:ings' is a convenient meal brand designed for enjoying a 'proper meal' at home. Since its launch in May 2021, it has introduced a variety of products including main dishes, fried rice, konjac fried rice, soups and stews, dumplings, and egg-coated series.
The brand name combines 'HOME,' meaning home, with the present continuous tense suffix 'ing,' reflecting the satisfaction derived from enjoying a 'proper meal' made and savored at home. Daesang aims to offer high-quality products that consumers can easily enjoy through HOME:ings.
In particular, HOME:ings main dishes feature 18 types of grilled, hot pot, and stir-fried menus that are cumbersome to prepare at home. Utilizing rapid freezing technology, the shelf life has been significantly extended, and packaging waste, a common drawback of existing meal kits, has been minimized by simplifying the packaging to a maximum of three packs. The main dishes surpassed 2 million cumulative sales and 15 billion KRW in cumulative revenue within one year, with last year’s sales increasing by more than 60% compared to 2021, receiving enthusiastic responses from consumers.
Currently, the main dishes include 8 types of soup dishes: ▲Nakgopsae Jeongol (Spicy Octopus, Tripe, and Shrimp Hot Pot) ▲Busan-style Gopchang Jeongol (Beef Intestine Hot Pot) ▲Seoul-style Sobulgogi Jeongol (Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot) ▲Ham & Meat-filled Budae Jjigae (Army Stew) ▲Spicy Kimchi Dumpling Jeongol ▲Meat Sundae Jeongol (Korean Blood Sausage Hot Pot) ▲Usamgyeop Sukiyaki (Beef Brisket Sukiyaki) ▲Seafood Nurungji Tang (Scorched Rice Soup), and 7 types of grilled and stir-fried dishes: ▲Eonyang-style Crispy Bulgogi ▲Chuncheon-style Dakgalbi (Spicy Stir-fried Chicken) ▲Royal Court-style Soy Sauce Braised Chicken ▲Jjukkumi Bulgogi (Spicy Stir-fried Baby Octopus) ▲Mapo-style Marinated Pork BBQ ▲Chuncheon-style Cheese Dakgalbi ▲Gisa Sikdang-style Dwaeji Bulgogi (Pork Bulgogi).
