BAT Rothmans Opens 'Eco League' to Foster Environmental Talent Driving Future Growth
Recruiting 10 Teams Until July 5
BAT Rossmann announced on the 30th that it is recruiting participants for the youth talent development program in the environmental field, the 'Eco League Environmental Idea Competition.'
'Eco League' is BAT Rossmann's flagship ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) campaign designed to discover innovative ideas to solve environmental issues centered on youth, who are the future growth engine, and to nurture 'Tomorrow’s Korean' talents. This year as well, the program plans to provide a platform where many young people can freely propose eco-friendly ideas, contributing to the construction of a sustainable future.
Eligibility includes teams of two or more young people who are currently enrolled or on leave from universities nationwide, or who have graduated within the last five years. Creative eco-friendly ideas can be submitted by July 5th via the Saenggangnunsom website or Google Form.
After document screening and final evaluation, a total of 10 teams will be selected. The selected teams will carry out a three-month project until November. Following the final presentation and evaluation, the grand prize (1 team) will receive 5 million KRW, the top excellence award (2 teams) 2 million KRW each, and the excellence award (2 teams) 500,000 KRW each, totaling prizes worth 10 million KRW.
During the project period, BAT Rossmann plans to provide activity support funds, mentoring, and a 'Living Lab Program' to strengthen participants' capabilities in the environmental field. In particular, through a mentoring team composed of experts and employees, participants will receive customized feedback to refine and realize their ideas, helping them maximize their potential.
