Guro-gu Recruiting 145 University Students for '2024 Summer Vacation Part-Time Jobs'

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) is recruiting 145 participants for the '2024 Summer Vacation University Student Part-time Job' from June 3 to 9.
The district operates the university student part-time job program to provide local university students with an opportunity to broaden their understanding of district administration and public service, as well as to explore careers and develop themselves during the vacation period.
Any university student registered as a resident in Guro-gu can apply, and 37 applicants from priority groups such as △basic livelihood security recipients △near-poverty class △persons with disabilities △national veterans will be selected first. However, △students of lifelong education institutions △students of credit bank educational institutions △students of Korea National Open University or cyber universities △prospective university students or graduate students △participants of the 2024 winter vacation university student part-time job program are excluded from the recruitment.
Selected students will work from July 1 to 26 at local community centers, comprehensive social welfare centers, regional children's centers, etc., assisting with civil service guidance, social welfare facility program support, and material production, working 5 days a week, 4 hours per day.
Applications can be submitted by job field through the district office website from 10 a.m. on June 3 to 6 p.m. on June 9, and detailed inquiries can be made to the Job Support Division.
