If selected as a support recipient, a star consultant (an expert in each field) will visit the small business owner directly to diagnose issues and suggest practical solutions. In addition, up to 8 million KRW in improvement support funds will be provided per business to implement these solutions at their workplace.
Eligibility is limited to small business owners in Busan who have been operating in the restaurant industry for at least three years. Applications can be submitted on the Busan Small Business Comprehensive Support Center website from May 29 to June 10.
Afterward, the city plans to select 10 local small business establishments from among the applicants through a selection committee composed of experts in each field.
For more details, please refer to the Busan Small Business Comprehensive Support Center website or contact the Busan Economic Promotion Agency.
Shin Changho, Director of the Digital Economy Innovation Office of Busan, said, "We expect that small business owners, who are struggling with declining sales due to economic downturns such as high interest rates and high inflation despite their competitiveness, will grow into core local stores and lead to increased sales for small businesses in the region through this project. We ask for the active interest and participation of Busan's small business owners in this project."
