Startup BARC, which makes ‘recovery shoes,’ announced on the 28th that it participated in ‘Viva Technology 2024’ held in Paris, France.

View original imageFounded by rehabilitation medicine doctors, BARC showcased its technology that stabilizes the arch of the foot by inserting memory foam in the two areas where the most weight is distributed through gait analysis. They held business meetings with various companies from France, the UK, Japan, Spain, and other countries.
BARC signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Skyport covering various collaborations such as hospital and pharmacy distribution, research and development (R&D) cooperation, and collaborative product manufacturing. Skyport is a UK-based drone infrastructure startup building a pharmaceutical drone delivery network with hospitals in Europe and Africa.
Heejoon Byun, CEO of BARC, said, “Participating in VivaTech 2024 was an opportunity to understand the health perceptions and needs of various countries,” adding, “We will continue our efforts for global expansion based on this foundation.”
