Official Schedule Begins with On-Site Inspection of National Youth Sports Festival
Fire Chief Oh Seung-hoon has been inaugurated as the 18th Head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters.
On the morning of the 28th, the newly appointed Chief Oh attended the Jeonnam Provincial Office Directors' Policy Meeting and began his official schedule by inspecting the site of the National Youth Sports Festival without a separate inauguration ceremony.
He toured various parts of the stadium to check the safety management status and met with firefighters on guard duty, urging them to do their best to prevent any safety accidents at the event until the very end.
Chief Oh is originally from Daejeon Metropolitan City and graduated from the Department of Public Administration at Chungnam National University. He began his firefighting career in 1995 as part of the 8th class of firefighting officers.

He is recognized for his extensive administrative capabilities and, above all, for his outstanding practical sense and excellent leadership that emphasizes communication and harmony.
Chief Oh stated, “I feel a heavy sense of duty to ensure the safety of 2 million Jeonnam residents,” adding, “I will do my best to realize a safer and happier premier Jeonnam by communicating and empathizing with the staff.”
