Samsung Electronics emphasized partnerships to create a digital healthcare ecosystem ahead of the launch of its smart ring, the 'Galaxy Ring.'
On the 28th, Samsung Electronics held the 'Samsung Health Partner Day' at the Gravity Seoul Pangyo Hotel in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The event was attended by over 200 industry stakeholders, including healthcare companies, specialized medical institutions, and investment firms. This is the first time Samsung has invited industry leaders to host a Health Partner Day.
At the event, Samsung shared its digital healthcare vision with partners and discussed cooperation plans to expand the ecosystem of the health management platform 'Samsung Health.' To this end, it emphasized strengthening open collaboration and creating a comprehensive digital healthcare ecosystem capable of holistic health management.
'Samsung Health' supports users' healthy lives under the 'Connected Care' vision, which manages sleep, exercise, diet, mental health, and connects mobile products, services, and people.
The event featured sessions including ▲ an introduction to the 'Samsung Health SDK (Software Development Kit)' for developers ▲ a panel discussion on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare market ▲ and presentations of collaboration cases in sleep, sports tech, medical AI, and blood sugar management fields.
The 'Galaxy Ring,' first showcased at MWC 2024 in February, was exhibited at the event to highlight collaboration with partners. This product is scheduled for release in the second half of this year.
